My first photo from last week's vacation in Switzerland.
Descending Weissmies mountain (4.027m), Swiss Alps

Last week I was on my vacation in Swiss.
In 5 days, not counting 2 times 11 hours drive from Croatia, we have climbed 3 peaks over 4.000m.
First of them was Weissmies 4.027m.
It was my first peak over 4.000m and fisrt time in Swiss. It was fantastic!
Tried to meet my friend +Wilfried Haferland who was in Valais also, but we missed in like 30 minutes, he had to go back to Zuerich.

We walked through Lightroom from import to
Keywording, metadata and import presets
 through a basic sorting and editing session
and finally to export, (even looked briefly at publish services)

On The Shores of Surrender

Gotta love a nice summer evening on the New England coast.  This was takes south of Boston, in the town of Cohasset.  I was fortunate to have discovered this gorgeous spot near a relative's house during an after-dinner walk.  I've been photographing sunsets for some time now, but I'm still always amazed by how quickly the light changes as the sun is setting.  My high school physics experience tells me this has to do with radial velocity, but I think it's just Mother Nature's way of showing us how unpredictable and ever-changing she is.  Speaking of change, I now have a SmugMug account.  Prints of this image available here: http://smu.gs/NPoTLP
