I saw Irises on the way to the office. I didn't see them last week. Different flowers bloom every day. It's quite nice.

~Panther Creek Falls~

Was able to sneak away for a little waterfall adventure over the weekend and paid a visit to Panther Creek Falls. This falls is just an amazing wall of water engulfed in rich green moss! The powerful mist was refreshing but made it nearly impossible to keep the lens dry.

"When The Skies Speak"
Photo thoughts--- There is something to be said about the light which happens on the backside of severe thunderstorms. Often times it can bring about some of the most dramatic light I have ever witnessed. This was shot while storm chasing outside the Colorado eastern plains town of Brush. The clouds were absolutely insane and we stopped to just watch the Mammatus clouds dance above us. It was pretty amazing. Amazing the show which mother nature can put on, I tell ya.

Another public holiday, another day of rain.
Being bored to death I decided to save all the images I've submitted to G+ in my hard-drive and categorize them by theme. This is because I can't have the images separated by folders as I still don't know how to post a photo to a folder and then share a single one in a post. So I keep posting photos directly to my posts. Until this is corrected (or something) my method is the one who will help me figure out what I already posted.

Well, as everyone should know, I am traveling to Austin Texas from Alaska and I started last Tuesday...... But now Donna and I are now in Jackson hole Wyoming, after spending most of the day in Yellowstone .... Not much to see there, but I did get to see and take lots of images of the new baby Bison. Will post more later .......

This is my submission for #portraittuesday curated by +Laura Balc I got to do a Senior Portrait session this last weekend with Sarah. We went to Piedmont Park and found a number of different locations. This was my favorite of the session. She was very self conscious and it took a while to start making photographs that really showed who he she is. This picture is one of my favorites from the day.
