~ lost ~

Sometimes, we are so determine to get to the point where we think we would satisfy with everything we have and it is always something we project in the future and by the time we reach there, we found out that isn't what we're thinking and.... we lost.

Hi...how are you, my friends?
It has been quite a while since my last upload.
Sorry for my outdated to follow your recent uploads and I wish I could try my best to catch up with you.
This is a shot I took at the end of last year but I left in my hard disc until I finally able to sit still in front the screen to edit it lately and get it done. I am glad if you like it.
Wish you a wonderful evening.

I know that this was shared the other day, but I wanted to share it for Friday's Theme, #weareparents currated by one of my favorites +Juan Gonzalez My husband is in the background herding the children as it is getting really dark, and is time to come home. My eldest daughter ran ahead and is getting ready to pack up from a great day at the beach. San Diego is wonderful, and we love spending Sunday Evenings at the beach. A perfect way to end a weekend.

Shooting from the helicopter gives a great sense of scale as the Fullers Great Sights boat comes through the "Hole In The Rock" in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
The 210-foot (64 m) hole runs through Motukokako Island at sea level and was created over centuries by wind and waves creating one of New Zealand's naturally beautiful sites. It is only possible to pass through the rock in calm seas.

The Mayonnaise Jar

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day is not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and two cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.

When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and fills it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured it into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “YES”.

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

“Now,” said the professor, as the laughter subsided, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things - God, family,
children, health, friends, and favorite passions. Things, that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the things that matter like your job, house, and car. The sand is everything else -- the small stuff.” he said.

“If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued, “There is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are
important to you...” he told them.

“So... pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Worship with your family. Play with your children. Take your partner out to dinner. Spend time with good friends. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the dripping tap. Take care of the golf balls first -- the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.”

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled and said, “I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.”

Ceremonial Room (HDR Vertorama)
(Visit the link below to get all the details about how this image was processed.)
[ farbspiel-photo.com/view/images/ceremonial-room ]

This is a 12-shot HDR Vertorama image taken in ceremonial room of the palace of Rastatt in southern Germany. Taking such photos while you are on a regular visit is quite a challenge. You cannot use a tripod, there are typically other people around you, and the dynamic range is very high. Nevertheless, with the right technique, anyone can do it.

How to do it yourself
Read my recipes for Taking Interior HDR Vertorama Shots, Taking HDR Vertorama Shots with a Tripod, and Creating HDR Panoramas and Vertoramas to learn how you can produce images like this one too. You will find all the links on the photo page at [ http://farbspiel-photo.com/view/images/ceremonial-room ]

A portrait of my hero light
Really, I do not know what I would be doing without Einsteins E640 units. Its stopping power is incomparable to anything on the market within its price range.

Completed this self-assignment as a present for Paul C Buff. And you know what? He liked it!

What is Plus Extract?

It's your DAILY dose of TOP Google Plus photographs, which were chosen by an algorithm that combines automatic steps and manual curation. This means that the DAILY TOPs are NOT based solely on popularity, and users with a small number of followers have a chance to be featured in the TOP. We use Google+ API for the automatic steps; Jarek Klimek is responsible for curation and communication with the authors.

We strongly respect the authors and their rights. +Jarek Klimek contacts every photographer featured in all DAILY TOPs and if any author decides that he/she doesn't want to be featured in the TOP, we respect this absolutely.

Catherine Hall About us and Google+

Google+ has flourished into a bustling online community for photographers – and one reason is the exceptional contribution of early adopters such as Jarek Klimek, Editor of PhotoExtract magazine.

Jarek had the foresight to research the new social network and created an authoritative list of photographers to follow on Google+.

His viral list has not only become one of the top referring resources of photography trailblazers, it is also shared and watched by leaders such as Guy Kawasaki, Robert Scoble and Darren Rowse.

Jarek has helped introduce the work of great photographers to Google+ photography enthusiasts and I was very excited to share his insights with viewers on TWiT Photo.
