8167 m high mountain is the beauty of the Nepalese peaks. For the first time I appeared in the viewfinder in the morning, the second day of the descent Thorong La Pass. It gives the perfect line of admiration in you and enhances an already-rooted sense of your smallness. It is one of the mountains that line the deepest valley in the world, Kali Ghandaki Valley. I'm not talking about 'the lowest' valley, but the 'deepest':) The valley boasts the title of this just because it is located between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna eight-thousand and of itself, is at an altitude of around 2000 m.

Until a few days after my first encounter with Dhaulagiri I learned that the white lady two years ago killed the father of one of our guides, Chiring Shepra. According to legend, his father had many successful outcomes of expeditions to Mt.Everest, Lhotse, Dhaulagiri, and another eight thousand peaks. Unfortunately, sometimes the mountain selects this tax.
