Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary Fireworks
Another shot from last nights festivities. I shoot the Golden Gate on a weekly basis, but last night defined them all. They closed the bridge at 9:00pm to prepare for the 9:30 fireworks. For such a heavy traffic bridge, it was pretty cool to see no cars on it. Then all of sudden, it went completely dark, no lights and you could barely see the bridge. I got the chills for a minute! Then a Golden Blanket feel from the bottom, and you could here a roar of people cheering, from all over the Bay. I will certainly remember this for quiet some time. One of the coolest firework displays I have ever seen.

Golden Gate Bridge Fireworks 75th
Well tonight was awesome. I got to Marin Headlands at 1:30pm, fireworks started at 9:30pm. I was there just a little early :D The lot was already packed and people were heading up though.

Right as the bridge closed down and the lights turned off (Why did they turn the lights off?) My LCD stopped worked :( No live view for me. It did start working right as the fireworks started though! I don't think anyone was expecting fireworks like this, it was incredible.

Glad to have hung out with so many great people too and meet some that I have been following for a while online.

Late Night Traffic
After Sutro Baths and some Mexican Food, we all headed up to Twin Peaks to shoot the city. It was incredibly windy and cold. Luckily we could hide infront of the wall barriers. I was surprised that there was so much traffic at 11pm, but then again it's San Francisco and you never know what to expect. #gpluspc #drinkandclicksf #sanfrancisco #cityscape #photography

Sutro Baths Sunset
I headed out to Sutro Baths earlier this month with +Brian Bach Sørensen. We had incredible clouds that night. I was here the other night and noticed that this rock and the others in front of it, were completely covered with sand. It's like they just vanished. I am really starting to realize how much sky I am losing not having a full frame. Hopefully this June that will all change :) #sanfrancisco #sunset #colorefexpro4

Sutro Baths Photowalk - Just Before the Splash
A bunch of us decided to venture out to Sutro Baths, to shoot the sunset after the first day of the +Google+ Photographer's Conference. There were no clouds but I was still happy with my result. While the larger half of the group was a little behind. +Joe Azure +Lisa Donchak +Giraldo Hierro +Joseph Fanvu +Amy Heiden +Joe Ercoli and I decided to get out of the wind and head furture over to the beach. +Bobby Gibbons came to rescue us later on. Then around 20 or so of us, took over some Mexican restaurante. They were about so close the kitchen, so they were not to happy when we all showed up :)

This is a two shot fusion blend with some Photoshop and Lightroom. Taken with my 17-40mm f/4 Lee .9 and .6 Soft Grads. About 5 seconds after this was taken a wave decided take over and my camera was completely soaked :D My 7D has gone through a lot, and thankfully still shooting fine! #gpluspc #sanfrancisco #HDR #photography

The Spaghetti Bowl II

Its amazing how different they look. But what do you expect when there is that many freeways mashed together. This one was taken from the top of Bernal Heights Park. I know I have said this before, but if you haven't been to the top your missing out. Looking this way towards Daly City, you see this. Turn around and you get Twin Peaks, (Sutro Tower) a little bit of the Golden Gate Bridge and the the entire skyline of San Francisco with the Bay Bridge leading into Oakland. Thanks +Tim Gupta for joining me up there. After the sun went down and got what we wanted from up top, we drove down and parked below. Then we crossed the freeway on foot and ventured right into the middle of this. It wasn't easy finding the shot, I had in mind at least. But definitely was fun to explore deeper in this mess!
